Just For Laughs: The Muppets animeront un gala à Montréal en juillet 2012!

Le penchant anglophone du festival Juste Pour Rire, Just For Laughs, donne un grand coup pour ses 30 ans en invitant Kermit, Miss Piggy et toute la gang de The Muppets à animer une paire de gala d’humour le 26 juillet 2012 (19h et 22h) à la Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier de la Place des Arts.

Parmi les autres animateurs de galas (toujours à la même salle), Just For Laughs a également confirmé la présence de Bill Hader, reconnu pour son travail à Saturday Night Live, le 24 juillet, ainsi que Bob Saget, ex-animateur du America’s Funniest Home Videos, pour un gala XXX le 27 juillet.

Un habitué du festival, John Pinette proposera aussi un gala (avec Tommy Tiernan parmi les invités) le 24. Jimmy Carr présentera un gala Britcom le 26 et Lewis Black fera de même avec un gala thématique au sujet des élections américaines intitulé The American Dream? le 27.

Aziz Ansari (3 soirs au Métropolis!), Jim Gaffigan, Hannibal Buress, Marc Maron, Mario Cantone, Patton Oswalt, Jim Jefferies, Kevin Hart et Wayne Brady proposeront également des one-man shows dans divers lieux.

L’équipe du mythique Epic Meal Time va envahir le Métropolis le vendredi 27 juillet pour un « spectacle » qui promet de ne laisser aucun spectateur sur sa faim…

Bobby Slayton sera également de retour pour animer le Nasty Show, au Club Soda, du 10 au 15 juillet, ainsi que les 27 et 28. Le spectacle The Ethnic Show revient également au Club Soda du 19 au 22 juillet, alors que le personnage de Curb Your Enthusiasm Leon Black (J.B. Smoove) animera le JFL Late Night du 24 au 28 juillet à l’Astral.

Les billets pour l’ensemble de ces spectacles seront mis en vente ce vendredi 11 mai.
