Sorties d’albums du 4 mars | Kandle, David Giguère, Pharrell et plus

C’est une semaine assez chargée en termes de sorties CD, mais aussi très éclectique. Voyons voir ce qu’il y a d’intéressant à se mettre sous l’oreille.

D’abord, du côté local, il y a Kandle qui propose son tout premier album complet, In Flames, qui paraît chez Dare to Care Records. Et ça promet. Il y a aussi David Giguère qui en est, lui, à son deuxième album complet, Casablanca, qui fait suite à Hisser haut, paru en 2012.

Rufus Wainwright offre pour sa part un best of de ses meilleurs titres, regroupés sous le titre Vibrate: The Best of Rufus Wainwright.

De plus, Bryce Dessner, de The National et  Jonny Greenwood, de Radiohead, s’associent et présentent St. Carolyn by the Sea / Suite from There Will Be Blood un genre d’album double où chacun des musiciens propose des pièces à saveur classique.

Pharrell, celui que l’on reconnait récemment pour ses populaires collaborations avec Daft Punk (Get Lucky), Robin Thicke (Blurred Lines) ou pour ses chapeaux excentriques, sort maintenant un deuxième album studio, G.I.R.L. Le producteur et chanteur n’avait rien fait paraître depuis 2006, avec In My Mind. Ce nouvel album compte plusieurs collaborations, dont celles de Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus ou Alicia Keys.
