Sorties d’albums du 27 janvier | Tire le coyote, CherfunK, Pond et plus

L’avalanche de nouveautés CD se poursuit cette semaine avec des titres locaux plutôt intéressants.

On retrouve d’abord un nouveau projet, CherfunK, avec l’album Tribu. CherfunK est un duo formé de François Richard et Alexis Martin qui accueille des artistes invités sur ses pièces. Parmi les collaborations, on retrouve Julien Sagot, Alexandre Désilets, Tomas Jensen ou Boogat pour ne nommer que ceux-ci. Le lancement de l’album a lieu ce soir (27 janvier) au Verre Bouteille.

Toujours chez nous, Benoit Pinette est de retour avec son projet Tire le Coyote et récidive avec un troisième album studio, intitulé Panorama, faisant suite à l’acclamé Mitan paru en 2013.

Certains l’auront découvert en première partie de Sam Smith au Centre Bell la semaine dernière, d’autres sur les ondes radiophoniques cet automne. Il s’agit de George Ezra, qui fait finalement paraître son premier album complet, Wanted on Voyage, qui contient son hit Budapest. 

Aussi à découvrir cette semaine, le collectif Pond, qui regroupe entre autres des membres de Tame Impala, propose l’album Man It Feels Like Space Again. Il s’agit du 6e opus de ce groupe dont les membres changent souvent.

Enfin, pour les amateurs de musique live, le Ty Segall Band propose un album de 10 chansons enregistrées lors d’un spectacle au Rickshaw Stop, à San Francisco. Ça s’intitule d’ailleurs tout simplement, Live in San Francisco.
