Tears for Fears à Laval en juin 2023

Le groupe pop rock anglais Tears For Fears sera de retour dans le Grand Montréal pour un concert prévu le vendredi 30 juin 2023 à la Place Bell, à Laval.

Ce spectacle de Tears For Fears à Laval s’inscrit dans une tournée nord-américaine intitulée The Tipping Point : Part II, qui débutera le 23 juin à Atlantic City, dans le New Jersey. La troupe visitera 23 villes jusqu’au 2 août.

La tournée est nommée d’après l’album The Tipping Point, paru en 2022. Il s’agissait d’un premier album de Tears For Fears depuis 2004!

Le dernier passage du groupe à Montréal remonte à l’été 2017. Sans nouveau matériel à présenter, la formation avait alors interprété majoritairement des succès de leurs trois premiers albums des années 1980 : The Hurting (1983), Songs From the Big Chair (1985) et The Seeds of Love (1989).

Selon Setlist.fm, Tears For Fears semble toutefois interpréter plusieurs nouvelles chansons en spectacle récemment.

L’excellent groupe indie rock californien Cold War Kids assurera la première partie.
