Marillion tiendra son seul Marillion Weekend en Amérique du Nord à Montréal en 2023

Le groupe britannique Marillion sera de retour à Montréal en 2023 pour trois soirs consécutifs. Les dates et le lieu précis demeurent à confirmer.

Les habitués le savent : Marillion tient régulièrement ce qu’ils appellent des « Marillion Weekends », soit des résidences d’une fin de semaine dans une ville. Durant deux ou trois soirs, le groupe y interprète des albums complets de son répertoire.

En 2023, il semblerait que Montréal soit la seule ville nord-américaine que Marillion visitera, selon ce qu’a publié la gérante du groupe sur un groupe Facebook.

Les billets seront mis en vente en novembre.

We are pleased to announce that our North American Marillion Weekend for 2023, will once again be in Montreal! And not only that, but the band have agreed to perform for three nights (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Tickets will go on sale in November.

Getting « across the pond” incurs a huge cost and although the expenses of a 2 night show are similar to a 3 night show, the ticket price for a 2 night show would not cover them.
We had really tried to make a Weekend work in the US, but due to visas, withholding tax and lawyers etc, there was no way we could overcome the financial liabilities and constraints.
Never say never to a US tour, we *might* be able to come and visit in 2024 (we are working behind the scenes on this), but in the meantime, we are delighted to come back to Montreal and look forward once again to a magnificent show.
